Spaghetti, cherry tomatoes, garlic or onion, basil, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper.
Bring a pot of salted water to boil. While the water is boiling, saute the garlic or onion in the extra virgin olive oil, then toss the washed and cut cherry tomatoes. Drop the spaghetti into the boiling water. Turn off the sauce, add salt and pepper, a few basil leaves, and a pinch of sugar. Drain the spaghetti very much “al dente” and toss quickly in the pan on high heat.
